Inspired by classic, American roots and rock music, Kent X Kent is comprised of brothers John David and Tony Scott. The band's sound is raw and eclectic.
Initially a one-off project, Kent X Kent was officially formed in 2017, due to the overwhelming response they received during a string of sold out shows across the U.S. and Europe. The repeated request for official music by eager fans prompted the brothers to begin recording their debut album, "Élan Vital".
Over the years, the brothers have collectively toured with bands like the Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, The Strokes, and Incubus. They have also made appearances at international festivals such as Reading, Fuji Rock, Lollapalooza, and ACL, as well as multiple appearances on late shows like Letterman and Conan.
